Do I need to reserve BLS Car Transport Service?
Reservations are not possible on the Kandersteg–Goppenstein and Brig–Iselle routes. You can travel without a reservation on the next suitable service. For the seasonal direct trains between Kandersteg and Iselle, a reservation is mandatory.
Can I buy my ticket online?
Online tickets are available for passenger cars weighing up to 3.5 tonnes and with a maximum of nine seats. Tickets for other vehicle categories are available at the loading station, depending on the route. For Kandersteg–Iselle, purchase your ticket together with the mandatory reservation.
Do I stay in my vehicle during the journey?
Yes. All passengers remain in their vehicles during the journey. When boarding and during the crossing, follow the instructions of the loading staff and the signs on the train.
Can my vehicle be transported?
Whether your vehicle can be transported depends on its type, weight, width and height, as well as the selected route and service. Enter your vehicle in the timetable search above and also check the loading instructions for your vehicle category (blue information box below the search results).
