Our development projects
As a mobility provider, BLS champions soundly planned urban development. It works with municipalities and other landowners to develop residential and commercial spaces with good transport infrastructure.
BLS develops its sites that are no longer required for its railway operations. With its development projects, the company seeks to create new spaces for residents and commercial users, and thus make a contribution to inward urban development. BLS wishes to use architectural highlights to create new urban centres and breathe fresh life into railway-station sites. This is just as important in Biglen as it is in Bern Bümpliz Nord, Bern Ausserholligen or Burgdorf, for example.

BLS wertet Bahnareale auf
Die BLS will ehemalige Bahnareale mit Entwicklungspotenzial sinnvoll nutzen und neuen Wohn- und Arbeitsraum in den Ortszentren schaffen. Bei sechs Grundstücken auf ihrem Netz sieht die BLS besonderes Entwicklungspotenzial. Gestern hat sie hierfür die Tochtergesellschaft BLS Immobilien AG gegründet.
