With the points card, you can travel much more cheaply
Do you travel at least four times a year on the Lötschberg or Simplon car transport service? Then it's worth buying a points card. It is valid for three years, and depending on the amount you top up you can get between two and a maximum of 17 journeys for free.
You pay CHF 250.00, and with that you can add CHF 300.00 to the card. With this bonus amount of CHF 50.00, we give you up to two free journeys, depending on the day of the week and the route travelled. If you top up your points card with an amount of CHF 750.00, you can add CHF 1,200.00 of credit and benefit from up to 17 free journeys on the Lötschberg. With the points card, you can also enjoy your own lane at the ticket booth for much of the year.

One point corresponds to one Swiss franc when redeemed, and for a trip the points are deducted from the points card in the same way as the ticket price.

- Lötschberg car transport service (Kandersteg–Goppenstein)
- Simplon car transport service (Brig–Iselle)
Please note that Matterhorn Gotthard Bahn points cards (numbers beginning with ‘2xxxxxx’) are no longer valid with BLS.
Valid for the following vehicle categories
- Car ≤ 3.5t / 9 seats
- Motorhome ≤ 3,5t
- Trailer / Caravan ≤ 3.5t
- Motorbike > 50m³ with/without sidecar and trike
- Bicycle / motorbike ≤ 50 cm³
Charges
- Holding charge: 15 points (refund upon return)
- Refund of partially used points cards: 25 points
- Replacement card in the event of loss or damage: 30 points
- Replacement of a defective points card: free
General terms and conditions
- The points balance is valid for 3 years from the date of top-up.
- Points cards are non-transferable.
- Registration of the points card is required to ensure its validity.
- No opportunity for the storage of points cards at desks.
- Bonus points are not refunded (bonus points are the difference between the amount paid in CHF and the total number of points on the selected points cards).

Points cards can be obtained directly on location at serviced loading stations and in individual BLS travel centres
Do you already own a points card?
Don’t forget to register your points card. Cards that are not registered cannot be replaced in the event of loss or theft. The points card can be topped up with CHF 250.00 or CHF 750.00 and is valid for three years from the date of the top-up. It is possible to top up again as soon as the points level drops below 200 points..
