Lost Property Service

Have you lost something?

When traveling with BLS by train, bus, or boat, it's easy to leave something behind. Our lost property service is here to help you get your lost item back as quickly as possible.

Rail Lost Property Office

The SBB lost property system, with which BLS works closely, allows you to conveniently report lost items online or directly at your local travel center. Items that have already been found are checked against lost property reports on a daily basis. After 4 and 10 days, you will receive a notification—by text message, email, or letterregarding the current status of the search.

Online form

The easiest and fastest way to report a lost item is via the online form. It is available around the clock and is free of charge.

How it works:

  1. Enter a lost property report
  2. Describe your item from the outside in (e.g., bag with brand and appearance, then the contents)

  3. Check the results displayed. If your lost item is among them, simply follow the further instructions.

  4. As soon as your item has been found, we will inform you immediately. You will receive another message as soon as it is ready for collection.

Please note that a fee will be charged for collection.
