After another flat section, the trail winds its way up in serpentines to the Fafleralp. From here, situated in the midst of the UNESCO World Heritage site, a loop leads even deeper into the untouched nature. Back on the Fafleralp, the route takes you back down to Blatten on the same path.

After a few laps of this area, you cross the Lonza and continue on a gentle incline towards Fafleralp.

After crossing the bridge at Eisten, you have the choice of either staying on the valley trail or returning to the starting point through a small wooded area. If you opt for the valley trail, you also have the option of choosing a small additional loop. This loop leads you to a short ascent from where you can enjoy a marvellous view of Blatten. The route then leads between the barns back to the starting point.
