Skiing for children and beginners at Lake Oeschinen
Teach your children to ski in the Lake Oeschinen family ski resort – without any hooligans or steep pistes. This resort is small, likeable and family-friendly.
The Oeschinensee ski area above Kandersteg is the perfect place for beginners and children. A short gondola ride from Kandersteg is all it takes: Right at the top station of the Oeschinen cable car, children can enter their own winter wonderland. In Oeschiland for kids, the little ones can be transported on skis and sledges from several magic carpets and a children's drag lift takes them safely back to the top after the first few bends. A snow playground and various monster figures provide further variety at 1680 m above sea level - and the ski school or the restaurant's sun terrace are also just a snowball's throw away.
Travel comfortably by train to Kandersteg. From Kandersteg station you can take the local bus or walk to the Oeschinensee cable car station.

How to get there
