RBDe 565 – commuter train with railcar
RBDe 565 commuter trains have been moving passengers for more than 40 years.
These trains usually operate with a low-floor “Jumbo” intermediate carriage that enables ground-level entry and exit. The commuter trains have a top speed of 125 km/h. Depending on the arrangement used, they can offer seating for between 191 and 387 passengers. In addition, up to three commuter trains can be linked to seat a maximum of 573 to 1,161 passengers.
During 2023, these vehicles will partly be on the road in a different composition, e.g. without high-floor and double jumbo intermediate cars.
