Bike ticket for accompanied bikes
Buy a bike ticket and bring your bike along. The bike ticket is valid on BLS, SBB, PostBus and other transport companies.
Please note that the transport capacity for accompanied bikes may be particularly limited during periods of good weather. The national 1-day bike passes and annual passes are also valid for BLS Navigation and Busland.

1-day bike pass
For longer journeys, it is worth buying a 1-day bike pass, which is also available as a multiple 1-day travelpass for six days of your choice.

Annual bike pass
You can travel with your bike on all routes which allow accompanied bikes for a whole year with the annual bike pass (individual, not transferable).

Mandatory bicycle reservations on SBB’s InterCity trains
For trains marked in the timetable with the bike reservation symbol, reservation is mandatory and costs CHF 2.00.

There is a year-round mandatory reservation policy for bicycles on the EuroCity (EC), Intercity-Express (ICE) and Railjet (RJX) trains within Switzerland.
You can make the reservations at a BLS Travel Centre or at the SBB Ticket Shop.
BLS Navigation
Subject to space, we are happy to transport your bike. The national 1-day bike passes and annual passes are valid for BLS Navigation. For a short distance, buy a ticket at a reduced price (½).
Please note: we cannot guarantee to transport your bike.
