Ludo Trail: Play your way through Adelboden
The playful way to discover the village!
More than 20 posts positioned all the way through Adelboden invite you to play along and linger awhile. The game posts are individually designed and in keeping with the themes of their locations. Race the AFA buses, stack the alpine animals on the Tschentenalp, see if you can beat Snowli, lace up hiking boots in a duel, or catch the marmots... There are plenty of playful highlights awaiting you.
Route description
There are over 20 exciting games to choose from. The games can be played in any number and order.
The game posts are individually designed and in keeping with the themes of their locations. For example:
• The Vogellisi herbs game in front of the pharmacy
• A word search game outside the library
• A hunt for coffee beans in front of the coffee roastery
• A picture puzzle outside the cinema
• An ice hockey match on a board in front of the sports arena
• A toboggan race with mini-sledges and mini-cableways at the Tschentenbahn
• Cake dice at the tea room
All the game posts are outdoors and accessible on foot. Depending on the weather, it is possible that not all the games can be played. The route is suitable for buggies and almost all the game posts are wheelchair-accessible. For the game post on the Tschentenalp, visitors will need to take the Tschentenbahn cable car.
In the village, you’ll find plenty of restaurants, cafés and shops with regional specialities and souvenirs.

Rates
- CHF 25.00 games materials for 4 people
A group/family (4 people) will need 1 games backpack. The games backpack can be used for the Ludo Trail for a full day. A form of ID (ID card, driver’s licence) must be left upon collection of the materials.
When you have finished the games, you need to return the backpack with the box of games materials to the Tourist Centre (please note the opening times). If games materials go missing, a contribution towards expenses of CHF 5.00 (per item) will be charged. For missing keys, there will be a charge of CHF 50.00.

Games materials
The materials for bigger games are located in a chest at the games posts. All the chests can be opened with the chest key from the box of games materials. When you have finished a game, the materials must be placed neatly back in the chest and the chest locked.
