Mountain Cart Lenk
Are you ready for action? Whizz down the mountain on three wheels while enjoying the fantastic mountain panorama.
The adventure-filled descent starts at Metschstand mountain station. From there, the route takes you rapidly down the mountain for around 4 km to Metsch middle station.
The train takes you from Bern every hour directly to Zweisimmen, where you change to the regional train to Lenk in the Simmental. And the cable car Stand-Xpress Metsch takes you comfortably to the mountain station Metschstand.

Mountain carts at Metsch
Whizzing down the mountain on a three-wheeled mountain cart is an unforgettable experience – cruising, sliding, anything goes. The mountain carts promise easy, comfortable and safe fun and are suitable for individual riders, families and groups.
The mountain carts can be collected from the Metschstand mountain station. Depending on your driving style, it takes around 15 to 25 minutes to reach the middle station on a mountain cart.
Useful information:
- Minimum height: 140 cm
- Maximum weight: 100 kg
- Only one person is allowed per mountain cart
- Helmets must be worn (included in the hire charge)
- Last mountain cart rental at the Stand-Xpress mountain station: 4.00 p.m.
Route
The route leads from the mountain station of the Stand-Xpress via the road to Metsch middle station.

The Mountain Carts are equipped with a comfortable seat, broad tyres and good brakes.
Mountain Cart hire
Mountain Carts can be hired at Metschstand mountain station and returned to Metsch middle station.
Group size
From one to a maximum of 20 people can take part in the offer.
Minimum height and maximum weight
The minimum height is 140 cm. The maximum weight is 100 kg.
