During your journey of discovery through the beautiful village of Marbach, you will visit the Lourdes Grotto – a place of power not far from the village center. Enjoy various regional delicacies during the walk and finish with a breathtaking view of the Schrattenfluh, the Hohgant and the Bernese Alps from the Marbachegg.

Tour offer incl. visit to the «Cheese experience» (Käseerlebnis) and a cheese aperitif at the Marbach mountain cheese dairy, visit to the Lourdes Grotto, seasonal and regional 2-course lunch at Gasthof Kreuz Marbach, return journey on the panoramic gondola lift to Marbachegg, dessert incl. 1 coffee or tea at the Marbachegg mountain inn.

Registration and purchase by 12.00 noon the day before at the Marbach tourist office.

How to get there

Travel comfortably by train to Escholzmatt. Continue by post bus to «Marbachegg, Talstation». The Marbach tourist office is located directly at the Marbachegg valley station.
