Christmas market and Advent village in Olten
From 30 November to 22 December 2024, the town center of Olten transforms under festive Christmas lights into a charming Advent village, combining the Christmas market and Advent magic.
Over 55 lovingly decorated chalets offer a diverse pre-Christmas selection – with exhibitors changing daily and weekly, showcasing handmade goods and seasonal treats. A central event square invites you to enjoy an entertaining supporting program.
Travel comfortably with BLS to Olten. The town center is about a 10-minute walk from the train station.
Highlights
Highlights include the Flying Santa, who flies daily over Kirchgasse into the Advent village, and the diverse gastronomy, including the «Weisse Rössli», the new fondue chalet «Gipfeltreff», a mulled wine pyramid, and many food stalls. Children can look forward to a nostalgic Christmas carousel, a 107-meter-long sledding track, and an ice skating rink. From the atmospheric Wish Forest to the cozy Santa Bar and the popular candle making, the Advent village offers a wide range of Christmas activities.
