Re 425 165 "Aschi"
For decades, the Re 4/4 ran express trains between Berne and Brig and goods trains from Basel to Domodossola. The Re 4/4 165 was originally delivered to BLS by the industry as the Ae 4/4II 265.
Today, the number 165 locomotive is no longer functional and is in the locomotive depot in Burgdorf.

The Re 4/4 165 locomotive belongs to the class that was built in 35 units between 1964 and 1983. It has a typical brown colour and bears the coat of arms of the municipality of Moutier as well as the nickname "Aschi". The Re 4/4 165 has been part of the BLS Foundation's fleet of historic vehicles since 2017. It was acquired by BLS Cargo in an impeccable external condition. It is no longer operational and can be viewed as an exhibit in the historic depot of the BLS Foundation in Burgdorf as part of a guided tour.
