BLS uses SAP solutions in capital-intensive areas such as maintenance, BLS network infrastructure and BLS rolling stock. SAP is also the central system used in other BLS business processes, such as HR, finance, controlling, analytics & reporting, procurement and supply chain management. The system landscape
In maintenance, we rely on mobile solutions based on SAP Fiori. The SAP Geo Enablement Framework helps us locate assets, and with SAP Success Factors we provide the system for modern HR management. SAP BW/4HANA and SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) form the backbone of the financial planning and reporting. By integrating the HANA Cloud Platform, we connect peripheral systems to our SAP systems. The migration to S/4HANA will modernise the backend of BLS.
