Travel comfortably by train to Erlenbach i.S. After a 10-15 minute walk you will reach the valley station of the Stockhorn cable car.

Culinary highlights in the Panoramarestaurant Stockhorn at 2,139 metres above sea level
Sitting on the large sun terrace, you can enjoy the breath-taking view of the mountain ranges of the Bernese Alps and the Stockhorn region. In summer, you will gladly be served at most tables, and in winter in the recliners with cuddly-warm sheepskins. With its 180 seats, the Panoramarestaurant provides culinary highlights in a bright, well-lit ambience with wonderful views. Directly beside the Panoramarestaurant, the tunnel leads through the mountain to the “Stockhorn-Augen” and the spectacular, free-floating observation platform on the Stockhorn north face. The almost vertical view down through the glass floor into the depths 400 metres below is breath-taking – and 1,500 metres further down lies the Aaretal and the town of Thun. The whole site is accessible to pushchairs and wheelchairs.

On selected dates, the restaurant is also open in the evenings. On Friday evenings, the kitchen team enchant guests with the Alpine splendour supper, and on Saturdays with the delicious five-course moonlight dinner. The range of themed evenings offers yet more highlights in terms of entertainment and cuisine.
