Trail description

Marvel at the alpine flora along the flower trail between Sillerenbühl and Hahnenmoos, immerse yourself in the deep-rooted alpine culture on the high-altitude hiking trail from Höchsthorn to Sillerenbühl, or enjoy the impressive views of the Simmen and Engstligen valleys during a leisurely tour along the Metschstand circular hiking trail.

A refreshing circular hike

The easy circular hike from the Metschstand to the Hahnenmoospass and back impresses with fantastic views, beautiful scenery and a refreshing highlight: the Brenggen reservoir. Sparkling in countless shades of blue from afar, it's hardly surprising that the reservoir is a popular subject for photos.

Metschstand–Regenboldshorn

A scenic, short but challenging tour to the Rägeboldshore. Highlights of the hike are the impressive panoramic mountain views of the Wildstrubel and the Plaine Morte glacier.

Höchst–Sillerenbühl high-altitude hike

Panoramic hike with valley views

This magnificent route covers the entire valley from the world-famous Chuenisbärgli to Sillerenbühl. The tour starts at almost 2,000 metres above sea level – at the weekend, the chair lift takes you from Bergläger to the Höchsthorn, saving you time. Following the mountain flank, hikers first reach the Bütschi and then the Hahnenmoos Pass with its impressive panorama. After the flower trail, the route ends at Silleren. Finally, hikers can enjoy a fast scooter ride or a comfortable gondola ride to get down to Sillerenbühl.

How to get there

How to get to Adelboden and the valley station of the Silleren cable car

Travel comfortably by train to Frutigen and continue on bus no. 230 in the direction of Adelboden (exit Adelboden, Mineralquelle). The valley station of the Silleren cable car can be reached on foot in five minutes.
