From Lüderenalp around the Gohlgrabe
Hike from Lüderenalp, via the Geissgratflue, Kammershaus to Bärau
The trail begins on Lüderenalp, where fresh mountain air and a picturesque Alpine backdrop await you. Passing traditional Bernese farmhouses and fragrant meadows, the trail leads over the Geissgratflue and then down a steeper path with breathtaking views towards Kammershaus to Bärau. In good weather, you can even see Mont Blanc.
Travel in comfort with the BLS to «Langnau i. E.» and continue by bus to «Lüderenalp».
Route description
From the Lüderenalp viewing mountain, hike to Geissgratflue and then turn right towards Schynenalp and continue over the ridge to Guggernülli. The wonderful view is your constant companion along the way. On the right is the Gohlgrabe, which you passed through on your journey from Langnau i. E. on the BLS bus. The hike can be shortened by around 30 minutes via the early, somewhat steeper descent into the Gohlgrabe to Mettlen. The route listed leads down via Ober and Unter Grindlen, Kammershaus (Chammershus) to Bärau.

From 3 May to 26 October 2025 exclusively on Saturdays and Sundays, as well as public holidays
Take the train to Langnau i.E., and from there ride the bus no. 285 (BLS hiking bus) to the stop «Lüderenalp».
Return journey from «Bärau, Dorf» by bus 284 or 285 (BLS hiking bus).
