MIKA at the Christmas market in Entlebuch

From the timetable change on 15 December 2024, the new MIKA trains of BLS will operate as RegioExpress trains between Bern and Lucerne, as well as on most connections of the Lucerne S-Bahn. These new trains offer passengers more comfort and space and feature a bistro area for refreshments during the journey. On 30 November, we will christen one of the MIKA trains with the name "Entlebuch" and would like to celebrate this event with you.
Afterward, you’ll have the opportunity to visit the traditional Entlebuch Christmas market. Look forward to a diverse program in a warm and festive pre-Christmas atmosphere! Be enchanted by the beautifully decorated market stalls, delicious food options, and performances by various artists. You're sure to find the perfect gift or souvenir here.

How to get there
From Lucerne and Bern, the BLS takes you comfortably to Entlebuch every half hour. From Entlebuch train station, the market area below the picturesque parish church is just a few minutes' walk away.
