Tobogganing fans truly get their money’s worth at holiday region Gstaad, with no fewer than nine toboggan runs. The varied toboggan pistes and the modern 10-person gondola lift at Saanersloch represent additional highlights. Several mountain restaurants and snow bars provide a welcome opportunity to relax and enjoy yourself along the way. A sleding day ticket allows you to ride on all toboggan pistes at holiday region Gstaad. Sledges can be hired. Public transport takes you comfortably to the ski area.

The following toboggan pistes are available to you.
The valley stations are each a few minutes' walk from the respective railway stations (Zweisimmen, Saanemöser, Schönried and Gstaad, Eggli valley station).
Saanersloch Run
Saanersloch Run (mountain station–middle station)
The toboggan run starts at the Saanersloch mountain station. The moderately difficult run leads past the Pasatiempo snow bar and the Lochstafel restaurant. Once you arrive at the Saanersloch middle station, you have several options: Take the cable car back to the start and enjoy the toboggan run again, or take the chairlift up to the Hornberg to the start of the Hornberg Run. Anyone who has had enough can choose one of the two easy toboggan routes back down to the valley.

Saanersloch Run (middle station–valley station, left)
From Saanenmöser station it’s a two-minute walk to the Saanersloch valley station. After a short ride you reach the middle station. The toboggan run back down to the valley is an easy run with a short steep section at the end – suitable for families and beginners. On the way, the Euterbar invites you to a make short stopover.

Saanersloch Run (middle station–valley station, right)
From Saanenmöser station it’s a two-minute walk to the Saanersloch valley station. After a short ride you reach the middle station. The toboggan run back down to the valley leads across gentle meadows and snow-covered forests – ideal for families and beginners. At the valley station, refreshments await you at La Ferme.

Hornberg Run
Easy sledging route for the whole family, with lots of straight stretches that make it a leisurely descent. The route crosses the Horneggli Run.

Horneggli Run
From the Horneggli mountain station, the toboggan run leads through fir forests past the Horny Bar. The route crosses the Hornberg Run. At the end of the run, refreshments await you at the sunny Moosbar before a short walk back to the valley station.

Horneggli Run Süd
Challenging sledging route from the Horneggli mountain station to the valley station featuring a beautiful view of Gstaad, Saanen, Schönried and as far as Rougemont. To finish, you can enjoy refreshments on the sun terrace of the Kuh-Stall restaurant in Schönried.

Wispile Run
Winter hiking and sledging
The gondola lift takes you comfortably from the traffic-free chalet village of Gstaad up to the Wispile mountain station. Before you speed down on the runners, you’ll need to drag the toboggan for around 40 minutes to get to the start. The easy hike leads along a beautiful panoramic path that follows the ridge. As “compensation” for your efforts, an impressive view of the Spitzhorn, a pre-peak of the Wildhorn, beckons. Once you get to Gsteig, the bus takes you back to Gstaad.

Eggli Run
An enjoyable toboggan ride from Gstaad’s local mountain Eggli back to Gstaad. This constant companion offers a fantastic panoramic view, taking in Sanetsch and Spitzhorn. Once you have reached the valley, it is a 15-minute walk back to the Eggli valley station or to the centre of the famous ski resort of Gstaad.

Sparenmoos Run
Sparenmoos–Heimchuehweid
The bus takes you up to the start of the Sparenmoos Run. After a five-minute walk, the toboggan run begins across gentle meadows. You can make a short refreshment stop at Site Alp before heading through snow-covered woods to Heimchuehweid. For those who haven’t yet had enough, the bus takes you around again to Sparenmoos or back to Zweisimmen.
