Puzzle trail
The entertaining tour starts and ends at Konolfingen railway station and takes the whole family around 4.6 kilometres through the village (duration: approx. 2.5 hours excl. breaks). A virtual map on your smartphone will guide you from post to post. As soon as you approach a post, the digital content is shown on the display.
In 14 puzzles, young and old learn interesting facts about the region and the origins of the famous Stalden cream in a fun way. To find the letters of the word, you can make a virtual castle appear in the landscape, solve tricky word puzzles, or search the beautiful castle park for artistic animal species - but we won't give too much away, because each puzzle will surprise you. A little surprise awaits you at the end.
Notes
- We recommend the puzzle trail for families with children aged 8 to 12. However, younger children can also join in the puzzles with the help of their parents. The puzzle trail is suitable for pushchairs.
- The first post of the puzzle trail appears on the train journey to Konolfingen - we therefore recommend travelling there and back by public transport. You can buy tickets for the journey in the webshop.
- When the weather is fine, the puzzle trail runs mostly in the sun. Pack sun cream, a sun hat and plenty of water. Writing utensils are helpful for solving the puzzles and noting down the solution letters, or you can write this down in the notes on your smartphone.
Important information about your smartphone
The smartphone must have an internet connection. The GPS location function of the smartphone must be activated. More information can be found in the menu under "Help". Switch on the speaker on your smartphone before starting, the puzzle path contains audio files. You will be using your smartphone intensively, so a full battery or a power bank is an advantage.

Please note the opening hours of the travel centre. The reward can only be collected during the opening hours of the travel centre.
On Sundays, the reward can be collected from 14.00–23.30 hours in the Cafe Bar Mr. Feelgood, right next to the station.
