Winter hiking in Val-de-Travers
Various routes to get away from it all
On a winter or snowshoe hike in the Val-de-Travers, you can leave everyday life behind and set off through the quiet, snow-covered landscape of the Neuchâtel Jura.
In the Val-de-Travers you have various marked routes with different levels of difficulty – hiking heaven, leading you through forests and across meadows to breathtaking viewpoints. Typical villages await you in the valleys, while the forests convey an impression of the High North with their dense fir trees.
You can take the train from Bern directly to Neuchâtel in just 35 minutes. There you change trains and travel on to the chosen starting point of your snowshoe tour.
