Professional wheelset reconditioning
BLS Ltd. has many years of experience in machining wheelsets for its own vehicles and for third-party customers.
Our expert staff recondition wheelsets in monobloc design or with rims for locomotives, multiple-unit trains, passenger and freight wagons as well as special vehicles in our certified workshop. We have the necessary machinery and equipment at our disposal.

- Inspection, cleaning, sandblasting
- Diameter and profile measurement
- Wheelset bearing inspection and reconditioning
- Non-destructive testing: visual inspection, dye penetrant method, magnetic particle, ultrasound, residual stress measurement
- Shaft and brake disc repair up to track width 1600 mm, length 2500 mm, Ø 1000 mm
- Mechanical processing of wheelset shafts, solid wheels, rims, wheel tyres
