Professional welding on rail vehicles and components
To ensure that passengers can travel safely and goods can be transported reliably, BLS Bahnproduktion has its own specialist welding technology centre. We have many years of experience in the welding maintenance and conversion of rail vehicles and their components.
We also offer mobile assignments at customer sites, welding consultations and other services. Numerous railway companies are among our satisfied customers. You will be advised and looked after by expert staff in our certified workshop. We have the necessary facilities to ensure high-quality work.
Our infrastructure
- Maximum vehicle length 26.4 m (longer vehicles on request)
- Length of transfer table: 20 m
- Lifting jack system: 48 t
- Crane system: 2x 10 tons

Welding work according to EN 15085:
- Welding process: GMAW, TIG
- Material range: unalloyed structural steel (S355J2+N, etc.), stainless CrNi steel (1.4301, etc.), aluminium alloys (EN AW-6082, etc.)
