Periodic servicing and inspections

As the second-largest railway company in Switzerland, BLS Ltd. operates and maintains around 100 self-propelled or towed freight wagons of various types in addition to the fleet of regional passenger transport (RPV) and BLS Cargo AG.

According to the applicable regulations, freight wagons must undergo periodic maintenance or inspection. This maintenance work is always carried out in accordance with the VPI/ECM specifications. If you are not a VPI member, you can supply the relevant specifications or have us draw them up.
