Summit pleasure tour Adelboden-Lenk

A whole day dedicated to enjoyment

Your journey begins at 08.39 hours on public transport from Bern via Thun (9.01 hours) to Lenk, where you change to the Stand-Xpress at the Metschstand valley station, which takes you up to the Metschstand by cable car. From there you can enjoy a magnificent panorama of the Wildstrubel massif. From 11.00 hours you can enjoy a starter in the Metschstand mountain restaurant.

Afterwards, the panoramic hike begins past the Caribbean-colored Brenggensee. Continue to the Hahnenmoospass and along the flower trail to Sillerenbühl. On the way along the flower trail, you will get to know the local flora. After approx. 1 hour 45 minutes you reach Sillerenbühl, where you can already have lunch.

Afterwards, you have a choice: either walk another 50 minutes towards Geils, where dessert and coffee await you in the Geilsbrüggli restaurant, or enjoy the Alpine panorama on the Sillerenbühl and treat yourself to dessert and coffee in the Sillerenbühl restaurant.

If you also want to feel the wind in your hair and relieve your tired hiking legs, you can change to a scooter from Sillerenbühl. After lunch at the Sillerenbühl restaurant, you can hire a scooter there for CHF 18.00, which will take you to Geils after a breezy ride. There you can enjoy dessert at the Geilsbrüggli restaurant before either taking the scooter back to the Sillerenbühl valley station or the bus to Adelboden Post.

Travel comfortably by train to Lenk and continue by bus no. 283 in the direction of Simmenfälle (exit Metschbahnen). There you can reach the valley station Stand-Xpress Metsch in 1 minute on foot.

The return journey is either from Geils or from Sillerenbühl via Adelboden.

From Sillerenbühl by cable car or from Geils by bus to Bergläger and from there by cable car to the Oey valley station. Please note the Geils–Bergläger bus timetable.
