Foxtrail “Emma”

The Foxtrail is a scavenger hunt through nature during which teams have to solve tricky puzzles and crack codes.

Foxtrail «Emma» is ideally suited for your next family outing, for company or club days out, seminars, school excursions, or simply as a way to spend time with friends. But be prepared to be puzzled! The clues are tricky and can only be solved with brains and team spirit.

Locomotive Emma has heard about the beautiful Emmental valley and the Emme River and is determined to visit the area that shares her name. She has set off to explore the area by herself. Join the fox on the search to find Emma. But beware: there are a few hurdles to overcome on the way. You’ll need to put your carpentry skills to the test and use your knowledge of the famous Emmental cheese. An old pumping station also needs to be put back into operation, and you can likewise prove your mettle as a train driver at the controls of a real locomotive.

There are two trail variants for the Foxtrail Emma, which can be started at the railway stations in Langnau i.E. or in Schüpfheim:

- «Foxtrail Emma» as a shorter variant
- «Foxtrail Emma Maxi» as a longer variant

Children

The recommended minimum age is eight. 

Food and drink

You can enjoy refreshments at various restaurants in Langnau, Schüpfheim and Trubschachen.

The Foxtrail is offered in German and French.

Availability

• The Foxtrail can be done all year round.
• Check availability online or at your BLS Travel Centre.
• The starting time must be booked online and paid for in advance for all participants using a credit card or TWINT. Alternatively, we can make a reservation for you at the BLS travel centre. Payment can be made directly on site using standard payment methods.
• You will receive the start documents by e-mail once you have booked the foxtrail.

Take the train to Langnau i.E. or Schüpfheim (depending on the starting point of the trail variation). Return train journey departs from Trubschachen. The Foxtrail begins immediately by the respective train station. 

Train transfers during the Foxtrail and travel to and from the starting point are included in the price.
