Experiences at the Emmental show dairy in Affoltern i. E.

Discover the homeland of Emmentaler AOP

In addition to the production, which can be followed live, there is much more to discover and experience at the Emmental show dairy. Regional and freshly prepared specialties are served in the cosy restaurant. On the grounds of the Emmental show dairy you will find a large playground, a sunny self-service terrace and a dwarf goat petting zoo. The specialist cheese store sells the original Emmentaler AOP in various degrees of ripeness, as well as around a hundred other types of cheese and specialties from the Emmental. On the King's way, the indoor experience for the whole family, you can learn more about the production and history of Emmentaler AOP. Or lend a hand and make your own Stöcklikäse or cream cheese as a group.

Travel comfortably by train to Hasle-Rüegsau or Huttwil, and from there take bus to the “Affoltern i.E., Dorf” stop. It is only a four-minute walk to the Emmental show dairy.
