Culinary walk in Ausserberg
Walk from Ausserberg train station in the direction of Biohof Fischerbiel (around 25 minutes on foot). In the organic farm shop, you will find fresh, homemade and regional farm products such as dried meat from Valais, jam, local sausage and ointments. Personal advice from the likeable couple who run the farm is included.
The tour is completed under your own steam, with costs based on consumption.
Rye bread baking workshop
Bake your own Valais rye bread in a wood-burning oven
Traditional Ausserberg rye bread is unique. What is the secret recipe? Fresh mountain air, clear water from the historic irrigation system or the soul of the historical Bielhaus? Find out for yourself and spend an enjoyable day in pleasant company. You will knead and shape the sour dough and learn about the cultivation of rye and its processing. You will sample Valais specialities and get to know the mountain village of Ausserberg better.

Visit to the Suonen brewery in Ausserberg
The Suonen brewery in Ausserberg welcomes you with the special beers Kräuter (Herb), Gold and Perle (Pearl). Enjoy them with nibbles, white sausage and pretzel or a Valais platter. You can reach Ausserberg with the RegioExpress Lötschberger. From there, it’s a 15-minute walk to the Suonen brewery.
