BLS Hiking Bus in the Emmental
From 4 May to 27 October 2024, the BLS Hiking Bus will take you to Lüderenalp, Mettlenalp or Chuderhüsi on Saturdays and Sundays and on public holidays.
Hikes from/to Chuderhüsi
The Chuderhüsi line starts this year's season already on 27/28 April 2024 with connection to the new Schallenberg line.
From the Chuderhüsi bus terminus, it is worth taking a short detour to the 42-metre-high wooden observation tower on every hike. The climb up the 195 steps is rewarded with a unique 360° panorama.
Many paths lead to the Napf - but no road. The most direct access to the summit is the ascent via Mettlenalp. The panorama from Napf of the Alpine chain, the Mittelland and the Jura is one of the most magnificent in Switzerland.
On Lüderenalp you can enjoy the magnificent view directly from the restaurant terrace right next to the bus stop. Not to be missed is the short walk to the vantage point Ober Rafrüti with a great panoramic view.
Book earlier, travel cheaper
Early birds are rewarded – those who book the earliest pay the least. Travel around Switzerland all day long on public transport – by train, bus or boat.
